This live webinar covers the issues to be addressed to provide the best level of care for scrapbook collections. The webinar introduces the structure of scrapbooks, types of materials commonly found in them, methods of attachment, and the implications for preservation and conservation. Low-cost, in-house preservation approaches are discussed.
Eligible Certified Archivists (CAs) earn 1 Archival Recertification Credit (ARC) through The Academy of Certified Archivists.
Who should attend?
Both professionals and non-professionals interested in understanding the various issues inherent with the preservation of scrapbooks are encouraged to participate. The webinar focuses on preservation within a cultural heritage organization.
